Press the buttons/menu items in the following order: RADIO -> SETUP -> SETTINGS -> VERSION

Version in this example is 4610 .

Most extensions to the 2G MMI system require software version 5140 or higher.
You can leave the software update to your local Audi dealer or carry it out yourself.

How to update MMI 2G software version?

To update the MMI 2G system you need 3 CDs, CD Part Number: 4L0 998 961.
