If you currently do not have an AUX connection on your factory car radio, then this is the solution.
This cable is connected to your original Audi / Seat / Skoda / Volkswagen car radio and a number of aftermarket radios with active AUX functionality using the 8-pin ISO plug.
The following car radios with an 8-pin AUX connector are supported:
- Aftermarket Blaupunkt 2000-2010
- Aftermarket Becker, Porsche Becker, Mexico, Traffic Pro, DTM High Speed, Indianapolis, Gran Prix, Monza
- Aftermarket Philips
- Aftermarket VDO Dayton
The following car radios are guaranteed NOT supported:
- AUDI: Chorus II, Concert II, Symphony
- VW: Beta 5, Gamma 5, Beetle Gamma, Delta 6, MFD
- BLAUPUNKT: DAB52, DAB53,Milano MP28, Monte Carlo MP28, San Remo MP28
- TravelPilot DX-R52, DX-R70, DX-R5, E, Freestyler, Exact and Rome NAV55E navigation systems
- OEM Blaupunkt radios
If you can set your car radio to the AUX mode, then this cable can be used.
If this is not the case, the AUX functionality will not be activated by using this cable.
In some cases you can go to the dealer to have the AUX functionality activated (if supported by your car radio) or purchase a Yatour interface that does not require the active AUX functionality.
The necessary port is located on the back of the radio. The cable is Plug & Play.
