With this Bluetooth module you can enjoy your favorite music that can be played wirelessly from a mobile phone or another Bluetooth device via your original BMW car radios with a 3-pin AUX connector.
This module is connected to the AUX port of your AUX capable original BMW car radio/navi using the 3-pin plug .
Only the following models are supported:
- BMW E46 (2002 - 2006) : 320i, 320ci, 320cic, 323i, 323ci, 323cic, 325i, 325ci, 325cic, 328i, 328ci, 328cic, 330i, 330ci, 330cic & M3 (Coupe, Sedan and Convertible) 09/2002+
- BMW E39 (2002 - 2003) : 525i, 525iT, 530i, 530iT, 540i, 540iT & M5 (Sedan) 09/2002+
- BMW E53 (2002 - 2006): X5 3.0, 4.4, 4.6, 4.8; X5 M from 10/2002
Comments: Only suitable for streaming music and NOT for calling! This Bluetooth interface can be combined with a CD changer. Cable length: 15cm.
This module has an integrated interference filter.
Installation:
The 3-pin connector of this module is connected to the AUX port on the back of the radio (located on the back of the radio / navi).
The black wire must then be connected to ground (-12V) and the red wire to the switched (interrupted via ignition lock) +12V. Possibly to tap the radio wiring.
The module only becomes active when the radio is set to AUX mode.
