⚠ Important installation notes
- If an original TV module is present, it must be bypassed using the supplied optical loop connector (included in the package)
- No coding required — MR12volt automatically activates the TV menu after installation, even if the vehicle did not have a factory-installed TV module
- Professional installation is recommended
Control method
MR12volt is accessed via the original TV menu.
- Select 'TV' in the infotainment system to start the MR12volt system
- MR12volt simulates the original (factory-fitted) TV module
- Once started, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are controlled via the original touchscreen
- The 'Next / Previous' track buttons on the steering wheel are not supported ;this is a limitation of the original (OEM) controls when the system is in TV mode
