Screen compatibility
Supported original BMW screen sizes:
6.5", 8.8" and 10.25".
With a 6.5" screen, the interface is only compatible with an Alpine head unit.
Will this BMW NBT CarPlay interface fit my BMW?
Before purchasing, check that your BMW is equipped with the
NBT ID4 infotainment system. Not every BMW from the same
model series uses the same infotainment system.
The P3000-BMID is specifically designed for BMW NBT ID4. If your BMW is equipped
with CIC or NBT EVO, you will need a different interface.
Not sure which BMW system you have? Check the head unit type and original
screen before ordering the interface.
Important before installation
- TV coding may be required if no original TV module is present.

If your BMW has an original TV module, it must be bypassed using a
MOST-LPFE
loop.
- The optical loop connector is not included.
- Professional installation is recommended.
- Before purchasing, make sure your BMW is equipped with the NBT ID4 system.

No. The P3000-BMID uses the digital MOST fiber optic connection directly
and therefore does not require an analog AUX connection for audio.

Can I continue using the original iDrive controller?
