⚠ Important Installation Notes
- The vehicle must be equipped with the BMW CCC iDrive system with MOST fiber optic audio.
- If a factory CD changer is present, it must be bypassed using the supplied optical loop connector.
- No coding is required if the vehicle does not have a CD changer.
- MR12volt automatically activates the CD/MP3 option once the installation is successfully completed.
- Professional installation is recommended.

Control Method
- MR12volt is accessed through the factory CD changer menu.
- Select CD1 in the factory iDrive menu to launch the MR12volt interface. MR12volt simulates the CD changer function.
- Once launched, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are controlled using the factory iDrive controller.
