PLEASE NOTE:
No coding or presence of a factory TV module is required. The PCM 3.0 infotainment system must be modified. An included video card must be installed on the circuit board: Mr12volt CarPlay video card installation in PCM3.0.
This requires some electronics experience. Once the Mr12volt CarPlay interface is installed, the "TV" icon will appear in the PCM home menu. If a factory-fitted TV module is present, its MOST connector must be disconnected and bypassed using
the following separately available MOST LOOP.
The TV module will be replaced by this. All original functionalities, except TV reception, will remain operational.
The Mr12volt Carplay module supports the OEM microphone, provided OEM Bluetooth hands-free is activated in the boardnet. If your car has a built-in Bluetooth hands-free option, you can continue to use it for phone calls even while CarPlay is active.
Solution for OEM rearview camera not working correctly with P3000 installed.
